Animation


On this project, we had to create a 60 second long animation with 600 frames. I spent up to 50 hours on this project. I hand painted almost each frame which was very time consuming. It was worth it in the end and I'm very happy with what I have created. I ended up submitting this to the Black Box Film festival and I won an award for Best Animation

I made a poster of myself using tracing tools on Adobe Illustrator. I decided to make three different versions. I had a different idea of what I originally wanted to do which included blowing bubble gum. I had a hard time making the bubble visible so I used a selfie instead. I enjoyed creating these. The top left is what Santi played with in class.

White Chicks Animation

White Chicks is one of my favorite childhood movies. When Professor Corrigan assigned this project, this is the first thing that came into mind. I had trouble in the beginning and then got used to it by the end. You can tell how it improves from beginning to end. I started off with sketching every single frame to copying and making adjustments. I used Adobe Animate for this project.
