Somewhere I Have Never Been Project

Image
I made two photoshopped pictures, one was for fun and the other one was more detailed. I plan on studying abroad in France on semester and hope one day I can make it to the Oscars (and meet Leonardo DiCaprio of course). When I was exiting out of Photoshop I thought I saved all of my projects and I did not. I only exported my Paris photo as a JPG. This was a slap in the face since I worked on the details like being behind objects and making a shadow.

Autoscopy Project

Image
I used photoshop for the first time since Freshmen year of High School. I struggled a bit figuring out the tools so this project took me some time. Back home, I always joke around with how I am the golden child out of all my siblings. I have my three siblings in the right corner and I am highlighted in gold. I organized each layer so I wasn't confused. I played around with the original background so it doesn't look like the original. I did this with the halo and cloud as well. I also smudged my teeshirt so it didn't say "deegee" on it. I like the way this project turned out.

Selfie Poster

Image
I made a poster of myself using tracing tools on Adobe Illustrator. I decided to make three different versions. I had a different idea of what I originally wanted to do which included blowing bubble gum. I had a hard time making the bubble visible so I used a selfie instead. I enjoyed creating these. The top left is what Santi played with in class.

Vector Mesh Self Portrait

This project was made on Adobe Illustrator. It took me a very long time to make this. I struggled the most with the nose. I tried making multiple layers to it and it did not work so I just used the top of my nose. Also, the coloring appears lighter in Adobe Illustrator. If I could perfect it I would. This is as far as I can get with it.

Update on Business Cards

Image
I took advice from Professor Echeverry and redid my lightbulb business card. I also added a third logo which is a cloud. This cloud represents me being a dreamer. Both look simple but I took my time playing around with them, making it look the way I want to. The png is showing it as blurry, I will try and update this problem. What I would do if I decided to stick with the lightbulb as my business card would be having the outline of the lightbulb as the outline of my business card. For now, I gave it a yellow background to represent being bright.

Business Cards

Image
I have made two different business cards with logos that I have designed myself. This took me a little longer than I expected, but I am happy with how it turned out. They're a little blurry on here as shown and I am unsure why.

Logo Ideas

Image
Here are two of my logo ideas that I have created in Adobe Illustrator. I had a hard time being creative as well as simple. One is more simple than the other. I also imagined the light bulb logo to look a little different. I think I am leaning more towards the JM star, since it is more simple.
